Roof Console for Defenders

Mud Stuff's latest product for the Land Rover Defender is this extremely neat roof console. Developed in conjunction with an OE automotive and aerospace trim manufacturer, it promises a factory-standard level of fit, finish and appearance to an installation that requires no removal or cutting of the truck’s headlining.

The console, which is suitable for all Defender models except those equipped with sunroofs, provides a handy stowage area above the top line of the windscreen. Its slots kind of resemble those in the Discovery 2, and you can see them being stuffed with maps, but they’re deep enough to take all manner of other stuff, too.

In between them, the central  binnacle can be used for mounting a single DIN accessory (you’re already seeing your CB in it, aren’t you?) or a bank of switches. Supplied with everything you need for easy DIY installation, the kit costs £159 including VAT and can be ordered from www.mudstuff.co.uk.
